In 1999, Mark’s expertise caught the attention of Swift Prepaid (now Onbe Payments), where he played an instrumental role in propelling the company’s growth from modest loads to a remarkable $20 million within three years.
Subsequently, he founded 1to1 Card, which provided innovative incentive campaigns for renowned companies like Volkswagen, Comcast, and General Motors, among others. Now, alongside Raja Ramachandran, Mark co-founded TPS Prepaid, an ambitious venture that aims to deliver premier marketing and high-volume GPR solutions, supported by strategic partnerships with FIS as the processor and Meta Payments as the issuing bank. With an unwavering passion for generating leads and referrals, Mark aspires to expand TPS Prepaid’s success into new verticals, forging a path of unrivalled customer loyalty and groundbreaking achievements.
He has been in the payments industry since 2003. As a technologist, Raja has built several payment platforms that collectively have processed over a billion USD for over 200 card programs. He has also been in charge of P&L for large consumer card products, including a program with over 500K account holders in 13 states. Raja was a partner at 1to1 Card until 2016. In that time, Raja built the IT platform that enabled 1to1 Card to support their programs and clients. This platform provided API, Web, Batch, and ISO-8583 interfaces for clients ranging from 2-person startups in Silicon Valley to Fortune-500 companies.
After 1to1 card’s acquisition in 2016, Raja went on to work for PLS Financial, managing PLS’s GPR program. As the Director of Banking at PLS, Raja was responsible for retail sales, vendor management, customer service, IT modernization, and the overall P&L for the PLS Expectations card program. Raja has a graduate degree in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Rick is the Chief Operating Officer at TPS Prepaid and handles operations and client support for TPS Prepaid. Rick was part of a team that built a total return swap platform at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a lead business analyst. He managed the development process at BoA for over 40 deployments.
Rathika is the IT Director at TPS Prepaid. She handles all aspects of software development and assists in TPS’s PCI and SOC 2 compliance efforts. In 2018, Rathika completed her Doctorate in Information and Communication Technology and led various projects in the areas of Wireless Networks, Embedded Systems, and Robot Operating Systems. Early in her career, she worked in software development with Cognizant Technology Solutions.
Kavitha handles software operations and monitoring for TPS Prepaid. Kavitha worked at Infosys as a Senior Technical Specialist with SETLabs. She has four patents to her name in Pervasive Computing and an Award of Excellence in 2008. She taught a Master’s Level course at PSG College of Technology for 4+ years. Kavitha is a happy Mother of two teens and a certified Yoga Instructor too.
Maggie leads the accounting team at TPS Prepaid. Maggie Sowul has been in the prepaid industry since 2011. Starting her career at 1to1card, she led 1to1card’s accounting team for over 10 years and through two acquisitions. Maggie then spent 3 years at Blackhawk, working on the post-acquisition transition. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the City University of New York (Lehman College).
Sangeetha is a Software developer with a passion for developing innovative products that expedite the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational success. A Person with a can-do attitude. She is skilled in writing code to create systems that are reliable and user-friendly. She has confident problem-solving abilities to overcome glitches with creative solutions that are strategically designed to last long term. Sangeetha has her Master’s Degree in Computer Applications from University of Madras and has around 15 years of experience in Software development.
